From Houston, Take I-45 South to the 61st Street exit. You will find Target and Home Depot to your left at this intersection. Turn right on 61st Street.
Take 61st Street all the way to the end and turn right onto Seawall Blvd. It is a good idea to stop and shop if you need anything. It is approximately 13 minutes to Dancing with Waves from this intersection. Prior to Seawall Blvd, you will pass Randall’s grocery store on the right. When you turn onto Seawall, Walmart is approximately 3 blocks on the right.
When you pass through the town of Jamaica Beach slow down to the posted 35 miles per hour. You are now less than 2 miles from Dancing with Waves; the last grocery store of significance is about one mile on your left. The prices are higher, but it is well stocked in an emergency.
Turn right onto Indian Beach Drive. Take the 1st left onto Shaman Drive. 18622 Shaman Dr, Galveston, TX 77554-1016, is on the right. Park in the driveway. Do not park on the grass.

In 2017, prompted by the encouragement of one of our college-aged nieces, my husband and I embarked on a venture to establish a short-term rental in the Austin, Texas area.
